University City
University City is know as the Northeastern part of charlotte surrounding The University of North Carolina at
Charlotte (UNCC) campus. Attractions include Lowes Motor Speedway, Concord Mills Mall, Verizon Wireless Ampatheater and Northlake Mall. Ikea recently announced plans for an Ikea to be built which will be the first IKEA built in the
Carolinas.

University City area with 21,000 being students of the University. It is also know as area 1.
