Pineville

 Home to our 11^th president James K. Polk, Pineville was formed along the junction of 2 Native American tribes near big Sugar Creek and Small sugar creek 250 years ago. Pineville was named in 1852 after the large Pine trees. Pineville became incorporated in 1973.

 Today Pineville is a busting suburb with a population of over 4,000. Well know for its antique shops along Main St. Pineville has also been up fitted with big city amenities anchored by Carolina Place Mall and some of the finest medical facilities in the Southeast. Paramount Carowinds is located just 5 miles down the road from Pineville making it an excellent place for kids. It is also know as area 6.
